303 Litigation (303 Tractor Hydraulid Fluid Lawsuits)

303 Tractor Hydraulic Fluid Litigation

303 Tractor Hydraulic Fluid, or 303 THF, has been used for years by consumers in all parts of the country. Traditionally, over-the-counter 303 THF has been viewed as a lower-cost alternative to the types of hydraulic fluids sold by equipment manufacturers. Consumers are typically farmers or those whom own hydraulic equipment.

According to lawsuits filed by 303 THF purchasers, some brands of over-the-counter 303 THF has been mislabeled and deceptively advertised for many years. Specifically, the lawsuits allege that certain over-the-counter 303 THF brands do not actually meet certain equipment manufacturer’s hydraulic fluid recommendations, despite advertising to the contrary. In addition, the lawsuits allege that some brands of over-the-counter 303 THF may not provide anti-wear and protective benefits as advertised, which may actually harm the very equipment it is used in by innocent purchasers.

I became involved in these cases because I believed many folks in Central Illinois may have been affected by those over-the-counter 303 THF products. While working in conjunction with lawyers from Kansas City and other parts of the country, I was appointed by the Federal Court with jurisdiction over some of our cases to serve as class counsel for the Plaintiffs.

As of the date of this writing, we have settled a couple of the lawsuits with some of the manufacturers. Individuals who qualify as claimants in those cases are entitled to submit a claim form to seek compensation. Eligible claimants will be entitled to reimbursement of a large percentage of money they spent purchasing the 303 THF, as well as funds to repair equipment damaged by 303 THF. Some of these cases are nationwide – meaning folks from across the country may be eligible to obtain compensation.
