Zach Anderson - Attorney at Law
Lawyer at Bolen Robinson & Ellis, LLP
I’m Zach, a lawyer at a premier law firm in Central Illinois: Bolen Robinson & Ellis, LLP. With offices in Decatur, Bloomington, Lincoln, and Sullivan, my colleagues and I solve legal problems for clients throughout Central Illinois.
Well before becoming a lawyer at BRE Law, I attended Mt. Zion High School, Lake Land College, and obtained my bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield. While attending UIS, I worked full-time in the construction industry during the day, taking the bulk of my classes at night and online. I continued in the construction industry following graduation as a union fire sprinkler fitter.
I eventually decided to attend law school and was fortunate to receive a substantial merit-based scholarship to attend the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign. At the U of I, I served on the Elder Law Journal, published an article about long-term care financing, received the Ward F. McDonald Scholarship, and was a semi-finalist for the Paul Lisnek Excellency in Trial Advocacy Award. I worked at my current firm throughout law school and became a licensed attorney after passing the Illinois bar exam.
What I Do
My practice is primarily focused on representing injured individuals throughout Central Illinois, regardless of whether that injury is physical, mental, or financial in nature. That said, I’m fortunate to work at a great firm with quite a few lawyers, all of whom have their own practice areas. So even if your legal issue is not in my realm of expertise, I’m happy to chat and point you to the right lawyer for you.
Types of cases I commonly handle include:
I routinely help folks whom suffer injuries at work navigate the confusing and complex Illinois workers compensation system.
As a former construction worker, I take a lot of pride in helping individuals who have suffered injuries on construction sites.
I frequently help individuals injured in auto accidents recover the compensation that they deserve.
I apply my practical experience in construction to help individuals and small businesses resolve construction issues.
